What is Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy?

Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy (TLH) is an advanced surgical procedure at Eva Hospital that involves the removal of the uterus using minimally invasive laparoscopic techniques. Procedure of TLH Treatment :

• Preoperative Assessment: TBefore the procedure, the patient undergoes a thorough preoperative assessment to evaluate overall health and determine the appropriateness of TLH.
• Anesthesia: The patient is placed under general anesthesia to ensure comfort and pain control throughout the surgery.
• Small IncisionsSeveral small incisions (usually 0.5 to 1 centimeter) are made in the abdominal wall. These serve as entry points for the laparoscopic instruments and a camera.
• Insertion of Laparoscope: A laparoscope, a thin tube with a light and camera, is inserted through one of the incisions. This allows the surgeon to view the pelvic organs on a monitor.
• Manipulation and Dissection: Additional instruments are inserted through the remaining incisions. The surgeon uses these instruments to manipulate and dissect the tissues surrounding the uterus.
• Uterus Dissection: The blood vessels, ligaments, and other supporting structures attaching the uterus are carefully dissected and sealed using specialized techniques.
